Third party distributors in Mexico ,South Africa, France and Scandinavia service retail customers in those locations. Simplicity has approximately 310 employees on a worldwide basis.
The Company markets home sewing patterns under various brand names including SIMPLICITY and NEW LOOK, and it has a special distribution agreement with BURDA. Simplicity distributes all of its pattern brands directly to retail customers that carry fabric haberdashery and other sewing and craft materials servicing approximately 8,000 locations worldwide. The strength of its products is based on easy to follow instructions and modern up to date designs featuring over 1,600 sewing patterns in a broad range of categories including fashion, special occasion, larger sizes, children's, home decorating, crafts, costumes and accessories.
SIMPLICITY is a widely recognized and respected brand name with consumers in all markets. Licensing contracts have been established with several companies to produce and market other products such as sewing machines, haberdashery, polyester Fiberfil, doll house kits and other sewing supplies under the SIMPLICITY name.
